Educomp Solutions Ltd, incorporated in 1994, has grown to be the largest technology driven educational company in India. Educomp is now India’s largest K-12 education company and has, over the years, achieved various pioneering initiatives in the e-education space. Notable among these innovations are: Smart_Class, a teacher-led content system which dramatically improves learning effectiveness in classrooms; India’s largest K-12 content library with over 15,000 modules of rich 3D content that is aligned with Indian as well as various international learning standards; Roots 2 Wings, India’s first structured pre-school learning system; Mathguru and Learning Hour, online learning platforms that have emerged as benchmarks for many similar initiatives throughout Asia.

Educomp has also implemented large scale public/private partnerships, working closely with various State and Central Government agencies in numerous countries. Currently Educomp is implementing teacher training and content development projects in over 6000 schools through public/private initiatives with the governments of Assam, Chattisgarh, Orissa, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Gujarat, and West Bengal.

Today Educomp and their subsidiaries work with over 7000 schools across India, US and Singapore. In the US Educomp’s presence is via its fully owned subsidiary Edumatics Corporation based in Ventura, California. In the Asia-Pacific region, Educomp has recently acquired Singapore based Ask ‘n’ Learn Inc, a premier Pan-Asian provider of education solutions and services that caters to over 120 educational institutions in Singapore, China, Thailand, Japan, and Brunei.

In additional to the investment made in Savvica, Educomp has also acquired 76% stake in Indian home tutoring company - Three Bricks E-Services: promoter of online tutoring website The Learning Hour and Threebrix.com strengthening the company’s online tutoring platform. Their 51% strategic stake in AuthorGen Technologies Pvt Ltd. has given Educomp access to key technology competences, student teacher marketplace models, and web 2.0 platforms for online learning through WizIQ, the free virtual classroom.
