Community

The Software Carpentry community is about learning how to design, build and maintain software.
We are intentionally using the term carpentry instead of engineering because the content is designed so that anyone who can swing a hammer, or in this case, type at a keyboard, can understand it. There is nothing included that assumes any advanced or pre-exisiting knowledge; just the desire to learn.
