why does the east coast of america have snowfal while the west coast dont? (Discussion)

The west coast can still have snowfall (especially in the more northern states) although not as much as the eastern coast I suppose. Kuroshio is Japanese for “Black Tide” and is a current in the Pacific Ocean. I tried doing some research on this and you’re probably right about it being an influence. There are probably other influences as well - both the wind and ocean patterns. There’s something called “the California current” as well that might play a part.
