Last week, Kate Moss - a fashion icon, was sculpted in gold.
A new statue of the controversial model was unveiled at a British museum for an exhibition this month. The statue, entitled “Siren”, depicts her in a yoga contortion.
Marc Quinn, the artist behind the art piece takes credit for designing the largest gold statue to be produced since the time of Ancient Egypt!
I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Does Kate Moss deserve the kind of compliment normally reserved for Egyptian queens and mythological goddesses? Or has Quinn created a masterpiece?

You bring up a good point, Avinash. Quinn could have selected a regular nomal everyday person, and the creation still would have created a stir.
To see the clay version of this Kate Moss artwork.
